How do you view all your own bookmarks that have been set to private, eg. to not be shared?

Is there a url for that or a tag?

Thank you.

I'd love to see this feature too. Up to now, the only way is to use an
RSS reader to subscribe to my public bookmarks feed. What's annoying
is bookmarks that's converted into private would still show up in my
feed. I think they should be deleted once they're set to private.

Also, I hope when adding a bookmark via the bookmarklet, there's a way
to make "do not share" option to be ticked by default. I can always go
to my collection and share later on.

+1 vote for API-accessible private "for:" bookmarks access.

I realize that this is quite OT, but since IMHO it's "kind of a big deal..."

I have had the same problem w/ Flickr: Photos that were permissioned for
everyone, but then only for friends & family have remained viewable via the
API.

It's quite shocking to see photos that are permissioned only for F&F appear
on sites that pull photos via the API - like claimid.com. I guess there's
just a delay in repermissioning these(?... Maybe you could address this,
guys?...)

Do you Y! types fraternize with your Flickr cousins at all?... This seems to
be an issue you share - and could perhaps collaborate on a solution to???...

Thanks,
Matthew

Where are you noticing private items in a public feed? Bookmarks that
have been set to private shouldn't be showing up in RSS feeds (except
the "links for you" secret feed), but the feeds don't update
immediately, so a bookmark set to private might take up to an hour or
so to disappear (usually a minute or two, though).

I always add a "*private" tag manually so I don't lose private items
in my sea of public items, but something automatic like this is on our
todo list.

For selecting "do not share" automatically, you might want to look
into making a Greasemonkey script -- there's one like it already:

I use NetNewsWire (newsgator.com) to monitor bookmarks I accidentally
not set as private. My feed is configured to be deleted from NNW once
it expires but bookmarks that were once public and then set to private
would still show up in NNW.

I don't use Firefox as my main browser (I use Camino) and even if I
used Firefox, as far as I know, greasemonkey is not compatible with FF
Mac version.

How long do those bookmarks show up in NNW after you've marked them
private? Can you email us off the list (feedback [at] del.icio.us)
with examples if it's for longer than the expected delay? We can look
into that.

Greasemonkey works with Firefox on my Mac, but I don't know of a way
to use the scripts in Camino.

Long enough (maybe forever) but I deleted my old account from
del.icio.us and NNW and started another one. I'll try to email you
guys with examples if I have time but FYI you can download NNW for
free and try it out.
