I have over 2,400. It has happened since I had on the order of ~ 2,000 or so. This is why I rarely do a bookmark synch anymore. I am not adding tons of bookmarks, so one I do one or two, there is a moment where you see delicious adding it but I don't want to do anything which will destroy my list. I am using the last version of delicious available, since when I run checks for updates to the add-on, I get no updates found.

I have had a persistent problem where when I do a sync bookmarks
under the Options | delicious tab, all my bookmarks (tags) disappear,
never to come back in my leftmost tags pane. Ugh. I have sometimes
been able to fix this by typing a space up in the search bar and they
will come back. I want the default behavior to always be to show me
all my tags in the split pane (top and bottom) like normal when I hit
the tags button.
